Notice of Launch of QR Check-In Service

Thank you very much for choosing Hotel Vischio Kyoto.

To make the check-in process easier for guests with reservations, we are now launching a service that sends a QR code for check-in by email or text message.

[Overview]
By presenting the QR code you receive to a self check-in machine, you can complete the check-in process with the name, address, and phone number you entered on the online reservation site automatically reflected.

[Start Date]
Scheduled to begin distribution on Monday, September 14, 2026.
*The QR code will be sent to guests as soon as preparations are complete.

[Check-In Procedure]
1. Make a reservation through your preferred reservation site.
↓
2. Receive the reservation QR code sent by our hotel approximately three days before your arrival date, around 2:00 p.m.
*An email or text message will be sent to the contact information provided at the time of reservation.
↓
3. Display the received QR code on your smartphone screen and present it to the self check-in machine to have your guest information reflected and simplify the procedure.
*The QR code in the JR Hotel Members app cannot be used.

◇This service cannot be used by guests who have booked multiple rooms or consecutive nights through multiple reservations, or when there is information we would like to provide at the hotel at check-in.
◇This service is not available if we are unable to obtain your email address or phone number at the time of reservation.
