We have recently confirmed that some guests who booked through Booking.com have received fraudulent messages via email, messaging apps. These messages request credit card information under the guise of booking confirmations and include links to phishing websites.

If you receive such a message or any suspicious communication, please do not access any links included in the message.

Please note that Hotel Vischio Kyoto will never contact guests via email, messaging apps, or social media regarding reservation or payment information.

We are currently working with Booking.com to investigate this matter further.
In addition, as part of our security measures, we have already taken the necessary actions, including changing the passwords for our Booking.com management system.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this situation may have caused our guests.
We kindly ask that you remain cautious and avoid clicking on suspicious links or responding to suspicious messages.
